Mike Vine

Michael Vine is a former co-owner of Blue Grass Motorsport, Louisville, Kentucky’s luxury automotive group. After graduating from The University of Texas in 1987, Mike entered the family business, joining his brother and brother-in-law in building on the foundation laid by their father, Herb Vine, who opened the original Lincoln-Mercury store in 1965. 

 

From then, the team strategically expanded into European luxury brands, ultimately evolving Blue Grass Motorsport into Louisville’s exclusive retailer for Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, and Maserati.  Mike’s career in the automotive business is rooted in his family’s entrepreneurial legacy and deep commitment to customer service and operational excellence. They were consistently a top performing dealership earning industry recognition for their sales and customer service excellence. 

 

In August of 2025, Mike and his partners at Blue Grass Motorsport made the decision to sell. Not able to give up on his love of cars and desire to help others, Michael Vine opened The Vine Group, an independent luxury brokerage located in Boca Raton, Florida.
